This time, though, she isn’t alone in the damp and dark basement. There are twelve other girls in there with her, many of whom will never make it out alive.The man that made Alex’s life a living hell has stepped up his game, and she vows to not only free the girls, but to take him down once and for all. With the addition of a new guard, Russ, who is put on her detail twenty-four/seven, it gets harder to sneak around and gather damning information. Although he might be exactly what she needs to get back at Mr Fitzgerald. Trust is a hard thing to come by in a place like this. But as Russ is the first person to show her any form of kindness, she believes it might work out in the end. Alex has to navigate a slippery slope and to not give away her true intentions, all the while trying to protect her darkest secret. But she’s still unsure if her new ally will be her salvation or her downfall.
